SPEAK OUT! ® & LOUD Crowd ®!

Parkinson Voice Project is a non-for profit organisation that has developed an effective program that combines education, individual sessions (SPEAK OUT!®) and group sessions (LOUD Crowd!®). There has been significant research conducted in relation to the effectiveness of this program and it has proven to be very beneficial and rewarding.


This program typically consists of 12 sessions with focus on speech, cognitive and voice exercises. The key to the program is to 'speak with intent' and highlights speech from an automatic function to one with meaning and purpose.

Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD ® ) is an internationally recognised evidence based approach to treating voice & speech for people with Parkinson's Disease. 

LSVT LOUD ® is an effective speech treatment for people with Parkinson's disease (PD) and other neurological conditions.  The key focus with this program is 'loudness'. It is an intensive program which typically involves 16 sessions.


Beginning your work with LSVT LOUD ® before you've noticed significant problems with voice, speech and communication will often lead to the best results, but it's never too late to start. LSVT LOUD ® has the potential to produce significant improvements even for people facing considerable communication difficulties.
