Director & Adult Speech Pathologist
Carly is the director and principal Speech Pathologist at Hastings Macleay Speech Pathology. After graduating from The University of Newcastle she began her career working with adults and aged care clients.

Carly's working life has been extremely diverse; having lived in Sydney and regional parts of QLD & NSW. Her family settled in Port Macquarie to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, establishing HM Speech soon after.
​
Carly's passion is working with neurological communication and swallowing disorders and Upper Airway Dysfunction including voice disorders. She is qualified in Videofluoroscopy Swallow Studies (VFSS), and Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) to provide objective assessments of swallowing and mealtimes, a niche service that is typically only offered in metro areas.
With expertise in swallowing and communication management, Carly provides support and treatment options, particularly in more complex cases such as degenerative neurological conditions.
