Paediatric Speech Pathologist
Graduate to Senior Opportunities Available
About Hastings Macleay Speech Pathology:
At Hastings Macleay Speech Pathology, we're building something special. We're a growing, values-driven team committed to delivering city-level expertise to children and families across the Mid North Coast. We believe great therapy starts with great people, which is why we've created a workplace where clinicians feel supported, challenged, connected and genuinely excited about their future. Whether you're a new graduate looking for exceptional support or an experienced clinician ready to step into leadership, you'll find opportunities to grow, innovate and make a meaningful impact.
Opportunity for Senior Clinicians:
As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you'll have the opportunity to influence the future of HM Speech. You'll mentor junior clinicians, contribute to service innovation, help shape our growing paediatric services and play a key role in developing the next generation of speech pathologists. This is an opportunity to lead, innovate and leave your mark on a growing organisation.
Why Clinicians Choose HM Speech:
• You want support that actually exists – Dedicated supervision, monthly EBP lunches, regular clinical mentoring and an experienced Clinical Lead with an open-door policy.
• You want to focus on therapy, not admin – Our dedicated administration team manages bookings, scheduling and client coordination so you can focus on your clients.
• You want a team, not just colleagues – Quarterly culture and engagement days, monthly team huddles, bi-monthly discipline meetings and a workplace where people genuinely enjoy working together.
• You want a career, not just a job – Leadership opportunities, student supervision, service development projects, specialist clinical pathways and genuine progression into senior roles.
• You want balance – Flexible working arrangements, RDOs, paid team development days and a culture that values wellbeing alongside high performance.
The Team:
At Hastings Macleay Speech Pathology, we believe great therapy starts with a great team. We genuinely care about one another, collaborate openly, celebrate wins together and support each other through challenges. Our clinicians are backed by a dedicated administration team, so you can focus on providing exceptional therapy rather than managing bookings, schedules and paperwork. We also have an experienced Clinical Lead with an open-door policy, ensuring support, guidance and mentorship are always available. We invest in our people through supervision, professional development, evidence-based practice sessions and regular team connection opportunities. We're passionate about delivering high-quality care, but we're equally committed to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and excited to come to work each day.
The Role:
The role of a Speech Pathologist at HM Speech is to provide assessment and intervention to a paediatric caseload by working closely with families, schools, and other health professionals to meet client goals. We offer services in our clinic, schools, home, or community. We work across a broad clinical range including speech, language, fluency, literacy, AAC, disability, swallowing/feeding and voice. HM Speech is about providing all families and children across the mid-north coast with access to city-level expertise, personalised care and evidence based excellence.
Remuneration:
We understand that there’s more to a job than just a pay check, however we also offer an exciting remuneration package. From a financial side, this includes opportunities for paid PD leave and an annual allowance, kilometric reimbursements for travel, rostered days off, access to company resources including laptops, monitors, iPad’s and more. We also have a quarterly meeting regarding client care hours with the opportunity for employees to discuss this with leadership, and receive increasing salaries incrementally.
We're looking for clinicians who want more than a caseload—we're looking for people who want to grow, contribute and help shape the future of speech pathology in regional Australia.
